Ethiopian 2020 election might be a referendum on the existence of Ethiopia

Is the 2020 Ethiopian election a referendum on existence of Ethiopia or Abiy Ahmed's power?
The Ethiopian general election is scheduled to be held on August 16, 2020 which is post pended from the original date in May 2020. The reason why the election was post pended is because August is a rainy season and most Ethiopians who live in small towns and rural areas would be nearly impossible to travel to the voting centers. The rural population of Ethiopia overwhelmingly supports the now defuncted EPRDF party. The illegal Prosperity Party of Abiy Ahmed is not cheating to stay in power, but it is an alien to the majority of Ethiopians that is the reason Abiy Ahmed is trying to disenfranchise them by changing the voting date.
Dr. Debretsion Gebremichael Deputy President of Tigrai in an interview he held with Weyin Magazine said the government of Tigrai is working for the Ethiopian election to be held on time. Dr. Debretsion added the Ethiopia is in a very dangerous period of time because the team in power is working against the Ethiopian constitution. Also, the criminal team in Addis Ababa has illegally destroyed the legal and elected ruling EPRDF party.
Tension is rising in all corners of Ethiopia and the 2020 election might even trigger further communal violence because the Abiy Ahmed regime has been working towards this goal to discredit the Ethiopian federal system.
IF the 2020 Ethiopian election is not conducted in a peaceful, fair and free manner, Ethiopia will face ominous political challenges with catastrophic consequences.
IF the 2020 Ethiopian election is not conducted in a peaceful, fair and free manner, Ethiopia will face ominous political challenges with catastrophic consequences. It seems this year’s general election might be a referendum on the existence of Ethiopia or on Abiy Ahmed’s staying in power.
