Tigrai Online Nov. 21, 2019
Eng. Maxamed Shaale Isaaq, the head of Somali Democratic Party – SDP Central Committee Bureau said, the SDP’s Executive Committee or the Central Committee don’t have the power to dissolve Somali Democratic Party.
According to a SRTV interview with Eng. Maxamed Shaale Isaaq, the head of Somali Democratic Party – SDP Central Committee Bureau, the SDP’s Executive Committee or the Central Committee don’t have the power to dissolve Somali Democratic Party – SDP to merge it with any party.
In an the interview with the Somali regional state broadcaster Eng. Maxamed Shaale Isaaq said that the ruling party EPRDf can offer a merger, but it does not have the mandate or the power to dissolve any regional party. He added the SDP’s Executive Committee or the Central Committee will not be able to decide such an important decision without debating the matter thoroughly.
Eng. Maxamed Shaale Isaaq said the SDP has to make sure the new merged party will keep the geographic integrity of the Somali state, the use of the Somali language in all aspects of life, self governing autonomous status of the state, and the protection of the multinational federal system.
The Somali Democratic Party will not be rushing to any merger without adequate state wide discussion and without making sure the Somali people are fully convinced.
The Somali people will not be invisible or hidden in the back anymore, they have to be right in the front like any other Ethiopians, Mr. Shalle said on his TV interview.
The SDP is the second party to distance itself from Prosperity Party – PP party. Tigray People’s Libation Front – TPLF announced yesterday it will not participate in the EPRDF members council meeting to discuss approval of EPRDF’s merger, and Prosperity Party manifesto and its bylaws.
Abiy Ahmed was in a rush to dissolve the ruling party EPRDF to the point of breaking internal party laws as if there was a force behind pushing him. Abiy even risked antagonizing the senior founding party of the EPRDF, the TPLF which would have lasting and deadly consequences.
In fact there are forces not only pushing him, they are shoving him and the forces are the Western forces who are trying to spread the protestant religion in Ethiopia using Ginbot-7 and other former terrorist groups.
The masters of Abiy are fully aware Abiy Ahmed’s true colors are coming through and he is being exposed in front of the Ethiopian people. The Tigrai, Afar and Somali people saw through him from the first beginning and they opposed him bitterly, that is the reason the Somali regional government was overthrown by Abiy. The Oromos also knew what he was, an opportunistic snake who is using the good name of Oromo to advance his own and his master’s evil agenda and destroying the federal system in the name of change. The Southerners, the Gambelas, the Harari, and the BenShangul Gomuz were simply beaten to admission. The Amharas were working with Abiy Ahmed knowingly because they thought they can use him to bring the old backward unitary system, in a way they right he is working to restore the fake rubbish system. A good example of that is the senseless spending of 160 million dollars to recover to shameful fake kings names one was a coward who run away when Ethiopia was invaded by Italy, the other one was a traitor who invited the Italians and sold them the most strategic ports in the near east.
Abiy Ahmed and his handlers have a three step plan to return back Ethiopia to the old unitary system.
1. First dissolve the ruling party, the EPRDF and replace it with a fake one.
2. Remove the current Ethiopian constitution which guarantees rights of nations and nationalities.
3. Finally discard the federal states and replacing them with geographic order.
The above three steps if they are carried out successfully, they will serve as prelude to the disintegration of the country.
The bottom line is none of the Ethiopian people will welcome a unitary system which wants to erase the federal states and return them to the old system which forbids them from using their own languages. As witnessed in Tigrai, Afar and now in Somali states the PP unitary Menlikawi party will be unequivocally rejected all over Ethiopia. Not by the elites of the parties, but by the majority of the Ethiopian people who benefited immensely from the Ethiopian federal system.
