Canada seeks clemency for Canadian facing death penalty in Ethiopia
Editors Comment: Why are the Canadians making too much noise about this terrorist man who has his day in court and was found guilty? They are not showing so much love for their citizen, if that was the case they would have done the same to Ben Johnson. Ben Johnson a Canadian with Jamaican roots got a gold medal for Canada in the 1988 Olympics. His 9.79 score was huge throughout Canada and Canadians were so happy. Not only did he win the gold medal but he broke the world record. They even coined phrases like “Benfastic”. The glory of Ben was short lived when he was stripped of his title for testing positive for using anabolic steroid, Stanozol. The same Canadian press that called him “Benfastic” started to refer to him as the disgraced Jamaican. Then, why are they so worried about Mr. Makhtal to the point they will ask for clemency calling him Canadian business man? Well, it might have something to do with the fact that he is from the oil rich Ogaden region of Ethiopia where the Chinese are digging for oil. In the remote possibility where the ONLF could come to power in the region, they want to get a piece of the pie.

Editors comment:Way to go Eritrea! What a tiny brave nation you are, challenging such a huge and powerful country. It might be even like the story of David and Goliath. You might be able to bring down the US government to its knees, who knows. After all you don’t want to be knocked down by Djibouti, oh no! You want to say if it wasn’t for America we would have been still in power. Well, don’t forget the whole world knows that you are rotting inside and cracking everywhere.
