2008 2008 Human Rights Report: Eritrea
Eritrea, with a population of approximately 5.5 million, is a one‑party state that became independent in 1993 when citizens voted for independence from Ethiopia. Eritrea rejects mediation on Ethiopia border row
Editors Comment: The psychotic- president-for life of Eritrea and his cronies flatly rejected mediation for peace. Well, they are stuck between a rock and a hard place and they should know they have no choice. Ethiopia on the other hand has all options on the table. If the Asmera regime decided to pick the other options, it would be for its final destruction and it is about time.
