The incident in Addis Ababa today is work of evil and cowardly to start civil war in Ethiopia

A blast has been thrown to a crowd of demonstrators in support of Prime Minister Dr. Abiy Ahmed in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia today. This cowardly action was done to create confusion and animosity among Ethiopian people. Every Ethiopian should condemn this work of evil to divide Ethiopians and promote suspicion among peaceful Ethiopian civilians for political profit.

The federal government should take swift action on the criminals and those who are behind them. The investigation should be one hundred percent transparent and announced to the public to avoid wild rumors from spreading and protect innocent people from falling victims. If it is needed the Ethiopian government should ask for help from the FBI crime investigating unit and other professional international security forces. No more hiding the truth from the Ethiopian people regardless who is behind this terrorist act, the government should clearly publish their name and where they are form as soon as their identity is known. If the government tries to hide or cover up who is responsible for this action, it would be worst than the terrorist act itself.

Ethiopians are advised not to jump to conclusion until the government finishes its investigation.

We at Tigrai Online condemn this cowardly act against civilians in the strongest term. This is not the Ethiopian way of fighting, Ethiopians confront their enemies head on. This act is calculated to target one group of people and pit ethnic groups against each other to plunge the country to civil war.
