The usual drama continues by Ethiopian chauvinist extremist

By now most Ethiopians inside Ethiopia and abroad are aware how the chauvinist extremist Ethiopian groups will do anything and everything to get back on to power. For the past quarter century these greedy vermin tried every trick under the sun including lies, poison propaganda, armed struggle, religion, ethnic division and intimidation to convince the Ethiopian people TPLF/EPRDF is here to destroy Ethiopia. Unfortunate for them the Ethiopian people can see with their own eyes how EPRDF transformed Ethiopia from backward disintegrating country to a vibrant, lively, and the fastest growing country on Earth.

As far as the chauvinist extremist is concerned, Ethiopia is on the verge of collapse as a country. Day in day out they do and say exactly the same thing bark against the Ethiopian government and people. In their hate filled eyes if they are not running the country everything is wrong. For example flag is wrong, Tekeze dam, wrong, school system wrong, article 39 wrong, transforming Ethiopian farming systems to mechanized agriculture wrong, building mega dams including GERD wrong and having foreign investors to invest billions of dollars is also wrong. Their motto is if EPRDF did it, it is wrong the question is what on earth did they do in 90 years when they were in power, NOTHING!

Now and then they are caught red handed with a huge lie and that is what exactly happened this week to the prophet of doom and gloom himself, Professor Alemayehu GebreMariam. This man has a serious problem, he is not only spreading misinformation like most of them, he has gone above and beyond to the point of insanity. The dear professor produces hundreds of articles a year most of them filled with detestable and vile words not acceptable in any society. In his long diatribe against the TPLF he is crying how a Qatar company, is looking to invest in Ethiopia. The group is interested on building a resort in Addis Ababa, but for Al Mariam it is a crime. Al Mariam expressed his outrage about the potential investment and building of a resort in Addis Ababa like this posted on his blog http://www.ethiomedia.com/1010ideas/4501.html, “Let’s face the brutal facts: Are they “building a resort” to make Addis Ababa the “sex tourism capital” of the Middle East? Or is it Africa?”

The fact he is equating building a resort with sex tourism is not the biggest problem. To create anger and sensation about the investment news he out right lied about how much land the resort will cover in Addis Ababa. Here is what he put as if he quoted it from the original source, but he didn’t, “Ezdan Holding Group, chaired by Qatari royal Dr. Khalid bin Thani bin Abdullah Al Thani, wants to capitalise on Ethiopia’s strong economic prospects by building a resort in Addis Ababa covering 150 sq km, which is more than a quarter of the city’s current area… Prime minister Hailemariam Desalegn expressed ‘strong support’ for the plan in face-to-face meetings in Ethiopia, Ezdan said on 31 January, and promised to ‘resolve any obstacles or challenges that may be faced’ by the scheme.”

The above paragraph is doctored to look like it was a direct quotation from the original article, but the size of the land is 150,000 square meters not square kilometers.

Now some of you might say it is a typo or an honest mistake, but it is not. This is calculated poisonous propaganda carefully and meticulously done to mislead the public. You can see his thinly veiled evil attempt to relate the resort to the recent student demonstrations in some parts of Ethiopia.

These sad human degenerates so pathetic their shameful acts have no bounds. The chauvinist extremist groups were defeated in the battle field by the gallant TPLF fighters and they know they can’t win if they start a fight instead they want other people to fight and die for them to grab power. Al Mariam and his group don’t represent Amhara or Oromo they are Egyptian and Eritrean stooges working for their own personal benefits.
