Mamitu Daska a 25 year old from Ethiopia won the Bolder Boulder road race on Monday May 28, 2012. The Bolder Boulder is a yearly international event held in Boulder, Colorado, USA. Mamitu is an elite athlete who won many times before. She won the bolder Boulder course in 33 minutes, 6.5 seconds. She ran the whole course very comfortable in the women’s professional race.
All the hard work did pay off; she got a $25,000 bonus for crossing the finish line first. She also won $7,000 for being first female and another $5,000 for being the first up Hayes Street Hills. A cool grand total of $37,000 us dollars is not a champ change. On top of all that money she made herself and her country proud.
We at Tigrai Online are happy and proud of her
