Ethiopian Sport Commission announces winner of new stadium design

The brand new Addis Ababa stadium design to be built at the cost of 1.6 billion birr.

The Federal Sport Commission on Tuesday officially declared the winner of the design of an international standard stadium to be built in Addis Ababa.

The stadium will have the capacity for 60,000 people and according the Ethiopian Reporter it is going to be around Imperial Hotel.

The largest stadium in Ethiopia will cost 1.6 billion birr. The building of a brand spanking huge stadium would be most welcomed by the residents of Addis Ababa and people around the country.
