An Ethiopian company has started manufacturing transformers for the Ethiopian market. This will help reduce the cost of the transformers and create jobs for many Ethiopians. The company has fixed over 2700 transformers and produced over 2000 brand new once.
Manufacturing the transformers in Ethiopia cuts the time wasted waiting to import from abroad and transportation cost from the ports.
