The Ethiopian government is to pardon the two Swedish terrorists that were caught with ONLF terrorists in south eastern Ethiopia. The two men are set be free after spending almost fifteen month in prison.
An Ethiopian government source said "Some 1,900 prisoners have been pardoned and are scheduled to be released in the coming days. The Swedish journalists are part of the group,"
The pardon was approved way before the death of Prime Minister Meles Zenawi who died in August 20, 2012. It is very common for the Ethiopian government to pardon in mass on the Ethiopian new year which is on September 11.
