for a celebration of Ethiopian culture with the ‘father of ethio-jazz’The legendary Ethiopian Jazz musician Mulatu Astatke
Mulatu Astatke, who will discuss Ethiopia’s contribution to world music.
Explore the Society’s rich Ethiopian collections, enjoy stunning Hipstamatic images by Lisa Bentinck, a coffee ceremony, music and dancing by award-winning dance troupe, Dankira. To be followed by a reception at the nearby Ethiopian Embassy.
