Ethiopian to Move to New and State-of-the Art Terminal 3 at Beijing Airport

Ethiopian will relocate its operation at the Beijing International Airport from Terminal 2 to, the new and state-of-the-art, Terminal 3 January 2013.

Ethiopian is pleased to announce that, starting from 1 January 2013, it will relocate its operation at the Beijing International Airport from Terminal 2 to, the new and state-of-the-art, Terminal 3. 

Chief Executive Officer Tewolde Gebremariam said “This move is part of the Star Alliance strategy of bringing all members of the alliance under one roof so as to avail a seamless travel experience to customers by further simplifying and shortening connection times throughout the Star Alliance network within China and in the region.

Ethiopian Airlines Cloud Nine and Sheba Miles Gold passengers will now get access to Air China Lounge and will have better connections to flights operated by Star Alliance member airlines such as Air China (Domestic and International), Air Canada, Air New Zealand, All Nippon Airways, Austrian Airlines, Egypt Air, Lufthansa, Scandinavian Airlines, Singapore Airlines, Thai Airways, Turkish Airlines, United Airlines and US Airways. Customers may also earn as high as 30,784 miles from Africa to China and even more miles when connecting to other flights of Star Alliance carriers operating from the Terminal.
