The Ethiopian Aviation Academy has graduated 61 cabin crew and 38 marketing trainees at a ceremony held at the Ethiopian Airlines headquarters on Thursday 21st March 2013.

Ethiopian Airlines CEO, Mr. Tewolde Gebremariam, gave out flight wings and diplomas to the graduates.

At the ceremony, Ato Tewolde said: “As part of our Vision 2025 of supporting the development of the aviation industry in Ethiopia and in Africa with the critical skilled personnel, we are building a premier aviation academy on the continent, which will have an annual admission capacity of 4,000 trainees by 2025 of which half will be third party admissions.”

The Ethiopian Aviation Academy was inaugurated in 1956 and has been providing trainings for pilots, maintenance technicians, cabin crew, marketing, and other aviation professionals for its own need and for other airlines.
