Subcommittee Hearing: Eritrea: A Neglected Regional Threat

We are not sure if it is directly related to what the PFDJ regime is doing in Ethiopia, Djibouti, and South Sudan, but  the United States House Committee on Foreign Affairs will hold a hearing entitled “Eritrea: A neglected regional threat” on Wednesday, 14 September, 2016. As announced on the Foreign Affairs Committee website, there will be testimonies from Eritrean witnesses and others.

It is crystal clear to everyone the PFDJ gangster group in Asmara, Eritrea has been working hard to destabilize Ethiopia with the help of the Egyptians and a couple of Arab countries. The PFDJ group has been transporting light arms, ammunition, trained personnel, money, printed propaganda flyers, and other resources to north western Ethiopia.

After the monticules preparation has been finished the PFDJ regime unleashed the narrow extremist militia it has armed to the teeth on selected towns of north western Ethiopia including Gonder and Bahirdar. They tried to make it look like it was spontaneous public uprising against the EPRDF government, but the thinly veiled evil plan can be seen from a mile away. Sure there is public resentment against the EPRDF government, but the Ethiopian people don’t want to destroy their own country.

We have to say the Eritrean brutal gangsters have succeeded to some extent on their plan because the successfully placed a huge wedge between the Ethiopian people especially the people of Tigria and Amhara.

Thousands of Tigrains deported from Amhara region arriving in Setit Humera western Tigrai

In the month of September of 2016 thousands of Tigraians have been deported form Amhara region. The deported people include women, children, and the elderly. The Tigraian civilians were deported for absolutely no other reason than being Tigraians. This is not only unprecedented action in the history of Ethiopia it has the potential to destabilize the entire country even the whole region of Horn of Africa.

There is no doubt in any peace loving Ethiopians and Eritreans mind, as long as the PFDJ mafia groups are in power in Eritrea there will never be peace and development in the Horn of Africa.
