The Financial Times says Ethiopia will be the 66th largest economy in the world
Tigrai Online, Ethiopian News, Sept. Oct. 26, 2016
The Financial Times one of the largest English language international newspapers on its latest publication said, Ethiopia is set to be the 66th world largest economy, up from 103rd in 2005, overtaking countries like Kenya, Guatemala, and Bulgaria in 2020.
The most reputable newspaper in the world further explained how Ethiopia’s economy has been expanding at an average annual rate of 10 per cent in the 12 years to 2016 and growth is expected to remain strong in the years ahead, supported by higher agricultural production, and large public sector and foreign direct investment, the report added.
Almost all the international institutions, governments and media outlets have confirmed Ethiopia’s miraculous economic growth in the past 25 years. To the Ethiopian people and peace loving people of the world this is great news, but to our arch enemies it is the biggest threat. That is the main reason they are trying day and night to stop or distract Ethiopia from continuing its amazing economical progress, but it is a futile attempt.
