You are invited to attend a briefing where Heathrow will talk about its preparations in advance of the opening of Terminal 2 on the 4 June.
At the briefing, you will hear from John Holland Kaye, Heathrow’s Development Director, Brian Woodhead, Heathrow’s T2 Operations Director as well as Justin Erbacci, Star Alliance’s VP of IT and Customer Service, Marc Owen, Border Force’s Heathrow Director and Bob Schumacher, the UK MD of Sales for United Airlines, the first airline to occupy the new Terminal. You will hear details of the preparations for the first flight from the new Terminal 2, how the terminal will operate and how it will benefit passengers, airlines and staff.
Terminal 2 marks the latest phase of Heathrow’s on-going transformation and will mean that, once opened, two thirds of Heathrow’s passengers will be travelling through new terminals with the latest in terminal designs. At a cost of £2.5billion, Terminal 2 is one of the largest privately funded construction projects in the UK, and is supporting the economy across the UK by creating direct local jobs and indirect jobs nationwide – with around 35,000 jobs in total.
