The EPRDF executive committee spent a week in a closed in a closed meeting to urgently address the deteriorating security and political situation in Ethiopia. Heads of the EPRDF coalition party came on live TV announcing after carefully assessing the current Ethiopian political atmosphere, they concluded the ruling party was mainly to blame for most of the turmoil in the country. They promised they will tackle all the problems facing Ethiopia and the federal and state leadership will take responsibility to stabilize the country.
Less than three weeks after the EPRDF meeting concluded there is signs of public unrest in Amhara regional state where civilians and members of the security forces lost their lives.
It is a little early to judge what the EPRDF government will improve to insure the safety and security of the country, but we want to know what the ordinary people think.
