Eritrean President, Isaias Afwerki arriving in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia today

Abiy Ahmed the Ethiopian prime minister welcomed the Eritrean dictator in the capital of Ethiopia, Addis Ababa today. The leader of the African North Korea is visiting Ethiopia for the first time in over 25 years. Ethiopia and Eritrea fought a bitter war after the dictator invaded Tigrai State of Northern Ethiopia in 1998 and thousands have lost their lives to reverse the invasion.
This man is the most brutal dictator in the whole wide world the Eritrean people didn’t even have a breathing space in their own country. It is a shame the Abiy government rolled out the red carpet for this wanted criminal by Eritreans and Ethiopians.
The irony of all is Isaias has been insisting on Ethiopia withdrawing from the so called Eritrean sovereign territories for any type of talk to take place between Ethiopia and Eritrea. After 16 years repeating the same thing all of the sudden he dropped everything and he arrives to Ethiopia. What happened to Badme, what changed now, what about the Eritrean people questions was the Eritrean people’s main question to normalize the relationship with Ethiopia or do they need a little democratic right in their own country?
Tigrai online supports any kind of peaceful resolution, but it has to be a long lasting peace not a propaganda campaign to save a dictators neck. The entire world knows Isaias Afwerki run out of cards now because the EPRDF government dropped the last precondition for the Algiers agreement. That was Isaias’s last card and now it is gone. Do you think he would let loose those thousands of young Sawa trained people? We hardly doubt it. What is going to be very interesting is what is the American government going to do about that and if Abiy would come force open the main gates Rama and Zala-Anbesa which are the main doors to Eritrea and Ethiopia.

We assure you there is no substance to what is going on between Eritrea and Ethiopia. It is all hoopla without anything to show on the ground and when the dust settles down Isaias Afwerki still has to answer to the Eritrean people and Abiy has to face the “potent” TPLF.
Finally we ask you the TOL visitors do you support Isaias Afwerki visiting Ethiopia now, why and why not?
