Third update March 22, 2015
The official statement by Nevsun on March 22, 2015 say the damages were sustained to the base of the tailings thickener. The huge blue ponds are the tailings thickener.
Nevsun, the Canadian company who own and oprates the Bisha gold mining has issued an official statement today on the 22, of March about the gold mine.
"The Bisha Mine experienced an act of vandalism on March 20 during the nightshift in which minor damages were sustained to the base of the tailings thickener, resulting in the release of water into the plant area. The required repairs and cleanup from the incident were minor and are incorporated into the plant re-start later this week. Additional safeguards have been adopted to ensure site and personnel safety and security while the Eritrean and mine security forces undertake an investigation." the company said in a statement.
The Bisha Mine experienced an act of vandalism on March 20 wink wink how convenient for them to say that. How on earth and who on earth will dare sneak in to the most fortified mining company in the most repressive and militaristic country and blow up a huge part of the plant? We will let you judge for your self if Tigrai Online is fabricating the news or it is a coincidence the gold mine gets attacked on the same date by so called vandalism.

There are no official statements from the governmets of Eritrea or Ethiopia so far. Usually the Eritrean government didn’t say anything when the Ethiopian government takes military action against it’s territory or military garrisons. The reason for that is because the people would demand retaliation and the government of Eritrea would not dare take one shot towards Ethiopia in an official capacity or it risks it’s own total demise.
The Ethiopian Government in April – May 2012 the gallant Ethiopian army took two separate military operations deep inside Eritrea killing hundreds and capturing many of them and shaebiya did not say a peep.
The Eritrean government has been getting bolder actions against the Ethiopian Nation lately. If there is no military action it would definitely get worst the time for military action is ripe right now.
Keep tuning we will report the latest information including a photo of the burning of the Bisha Mine as soon as we get hold of it.

For those peace loving Eritreans, you have very short time to rescue your country. Stop targeting our people or you face a severe consequences.
Some of you are asking why Ethiopia took the military action now. Among many terrorist acts against Ethiopia by the Eritrean government, Eritrea has launched military strikes from it's land in to Tigrai as shown in this video released by the Eritrean Satellite Television ESAT TV this battle reportedly took place in Adi Goshu town of Tigrai, so severe retaliation is in order. All the Eritrean websites have been bragging about it yesterday. The peace loving Eritreans need to speak up now or hold your peace for ever.
