Building of Pan African University officially launched in Tigrai city of Adwa northern Ethiopoia.

Building of the Adwa Pan African University officially launched in the city of Adwa, Tigrai state northern Ethiopia on April 23, 2017. The cornerstone laying ceremony was attended by many African leaders including Nigerian, South African, Malawian, Liberian, and Burundian former presidents. In addition the current Vise president of Botswana, Puntland administration presidents and other dignitaries from all over Africa were present in the the cornerstone laying ceremony.
Ethiopian Prime Minster Hailemariam Desalegn opened the the cornerstone laying ceremony with a short speech. Ethiopian government officials, Tigrai state officials, religious leaders representatives of the public were also present.
