Dr. Debretsion Gebremichael the president of Tigrai harshly and strongly criticized the concerted campaign to attack the people and government of Tigrai by politically motivated groups and parties including the Ethiopian federal government.

Dr. Debretsion Gebremichael said 2019 is a year of hope and insecurity because there was and still there are well organized forces to encircle, weaken, incapacitate and destroy Tigrai. He added because the astounding strength and unity of the people of Tigrai most of the evil plans of the enemies have been failed, but still as a people we need to be vigilant and be ready to defend Tigrai.
