Eritrea holds the number one spot for the most censored country in the world.

The Horn of African country of Eritrea becomes number one in the world for the worst media censorship. According to Media watchdog Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ), Eritrea beat North Korea and Turkmenistan to become the number one worst repressive country in the world for press and media.
CPJ’s report which is published on its website said the following about Eritrea’s extremely muzzled press and media.
“Eritrea is the world's most censored country, according to a list compiled by the Committee to Protect Journalists. The list is based on CPJ's research into the use of tactics ranging from imprisonment and repressive laws to surveillance of journalists and restrictions on internet and social media access.”
