The Deputy President of Tigrai, Dr.Debretsion Gebremichael made a stern call for Ethiopian members of parliament to play their historic role on stopping the unprecedented foreign meddling in Ethiopia. Dr.Debretsion also reminded the Ethiopian law makers to speak against the continuous attack against the people of Tigrai by the Abiy Ahmed regime. In this regard he said “if living in equality united under one country is made impossible, the people of Tigrai have gained the right to determine their own destiny through their struggle and that right is still fully in their hands.”
Dr.Debretsion Gebremichael additionally called on the people of Eritrea to work towards peace and reconciliation with their brothers and sisters across the Mereb river the people of Tigrai. Dr. Debretsion reiterated some Eritrean forces are working with the defeated Unitary chauvinist forces to ignite another war between the people of Tigrai and Eritrea and the people on both sides should reject this destructive idea of war.
