Federation is the only way out for Ethiopia
There is no other way for Ethiopia to exist as Ethiopia unless the current Federal arrangement is respected and upheld

Do you even know that Europe is divided alongside language and ethnic groups? Tell me any country that is multilingual and has federal arrangement that is not language based. The EU is kind of
based on a federal system that relies on this premise. Belgium has a federal system that is divided along language groups as well.

According to Wikipedia: "Belgium is home to two main linguistic groups or communities: the Dutch-speaking Flemish Community, which constitutes about 60 percent of the population, and the French-speaking Community, which comprises about 40 percent of all Belgians....Following World War II, Belgian politics became increasingly dominated by the autonomy of its two main linguistic communities.[80] Intercommunal tensions rose and the constitution was amended to minimize the potential for conflict.[80]

Based on the four language areas defined in 1962–63 (the Dutch, bilingual, French and German language areas), consecutive revisions of the country's constitution in 1970, 1980, 1988 and 1993 established a unique form of a federal state with segregated political power into three levels:[81][82]
1.The federal government, based in Brussels.
2.The three language communities: the Flemish Community (Dutch-speaking);
the French Community (French-speaking);
the German-speaking Community.
"

And yet, Belgians have had such a peaceful and stable existence through most of their history. The fact that the country's federal system is based on a language based arrangement did not prevent the country to become one of the most prosperous and stable country in the western hemisphere.

Even the EU itself is kind of a language based "federal" arrangement. If you take EU as an integrated nation, there is Germany (speaking German), Italy (Italian), Denmark (Danish), France (French) etc...

Though some of you might want us to believe that our disgrace and chaos in Ethiopia is because of the language based Federal form of government, the reality is that there are many countries that have the same kind of arrangement and still live in peace and prospering----Canada(?). Our misery and discord is because we have so many hypocrite and mediocre pseodo-politicians. These no-good-for-nothing elite intellectuals live out of the people's fear and misery. They do not have any new or novel ideas. They deafen us with old songs, they saturate us with empty slogans, and they watch, from afar, when the poor and unsuspecting fight and kill each other.

We can live in peace and harmony while respecting each other's language, culture, history, and self-governance at the same time. Those who would want us to believe that we are miserable because our people was given a chance to govern themselves are those who would cry wolf every time the system changes against their wishes. There is no other way for Ethiopia to exist as Ethiopia unless the current Federal arrangement is respected and upheld. One undoes it and throws it away and rest assured that we all will witness the fastest disintegration of a country. There has never been a country that was formed against the will of its members. It has been tried and failed. The Soviets, Yugoslavia, even the Roman Empire. No one can force any people into submission forever. People become a citizen of a country simply because they wanted to be, and not because anyone forced them to be. An Amara is an Amara. No one can change that. An Amara becomes an Ethiopian only if he/she lets be. An Oromo or a Tigraway is what they are no matter what. No one can change that. They become Ethiopian only if they let be.

A country of multi ethnic, multilingual mix can be a viable and a stable country only if its founding members are willing participants of its formation. The other way around is a recipe for disaster. Therefore, lets make sure that all of us are willing to be part of this concept of 'Ethiopia". Just show me that you accept me for who I am and then I will gladly be part of that community called Ethiopia! Do Not judge me because I have an opinion and you have none. You do not make me part of you simply because you opt to bark instead of debate. I care less what you think of me if you do not respect my views just for what they are: VIEWS! This is what I think; I suggest you try to live with it!

I am an Amara/Tigre first and an Ethiopian second. It can never be the other way around
