President Park Geun-hye of South Korea is visiting Ethiopia as part of 12 day official visit to the African continent that would include three other African countries.
The South Korean president held discussions with Prime Minister Hailemariam and President Mulatu Teshome about how to strengthen the historical relationship between Ethiopia and South Korea and other bilateral issues.
"Business leaders of South Korea and Ethiopia met in Addis Ababa on Friday on the sidelines of President Park Geun-hye's ongoing visit to the East African country and reached a number of cooperation agreements and memorandums of understanding (MOUs). The agreements were made during a business forum hosted by the Korea International Trade Association (KITA)." FBC reported from Addis Ababa.
President Park Geun-hye addressed the African Union based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. She also met with Dr. Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma, Chairperson of the AU Commission.
Ethiopia’s unprecedented miraculous economic growth and overall progress is attracting many countries to look this glorious ancient African country with fresh eyes. Thousands of investors and companies are coming to Ethiopia to invest.

Ethiopia has recently started investing in building long term infrastructure and multibillion dollar mega projects. At the same time Ethiopia is building one of the most powerful military in Africa to insure the security of the nation and to bring about peace and stability to the region.
