It is with great sorrow that we received the shocking news of the inhuman and horrifying killing of 30 Ethiopians by the so called ISIS Gangs in Libya. The dastardly act is a travesty against humanity.
Although the criminal act was carried out in the name of Islam and the Great Allah, the great religion of Islam, the faith of peace and the Merciful Allah have nothing to do with this criminal act of carnage.
On this sad event, the Embassy would like to express its deep condolences and sympathy to the bereaved family, friends and the entire Ethiopian people. Since Terrorism is a global phenomenon the Ethiopian people and government shall intensify their bitter struggle against this international scourge.
