Tigrai Online - Historian Memhir Gebrekidan Desta has been interviewed by Habtom Tekle of Snit Radio about his new book "Embita Antsar Wererti" a book mainly about Emperor Yohannes IV, King of Zion and King of Kings of Ethiopia and the people of tigrai. Memhir Gebrekidan Desta is touring USA to discuss his new book. This video is provided by Tigrai Online
Memhir Gebrekidan Desta is challenging the discriminatory and falsified Ethiopian history that was taught in Ethiopia for the past sixty years. The fake history was designed to glorify one ethnic group and dehumanize others. The history of the people of Tigrai has been stolen and people who has nothing to do with the history of Tigrai has been boasting about it claiming as the founders of Ethiopia. The new book written by Memhir Gebrekidan Desta completely demolishes the false history.
Historian Memhir Gebrekidan Desta has finished his American tour and went back to Ethiopia. Before he went back home he was interviewed by Snit Radio. The concluding and final part of his interview has very important messages for all of us.
