Bill Gates the American great philanthropist, is “Woyane TPLF” says Ethiopian tribal groups
Tigrai Online, May 26, 2017
The Ethiopian ethnic extremists are in a great delusion and disappointment after the election of Dr. Tedros Adhanom to become the Director General of the World Health Organization W.H.O. on Tuesday May 23, 2017 in Geneva.

Dr. Tedros Adhanom won by a huge margin of 133 votes out of 186 potential voting countries. This win was a proud moment for most Ethiopians and Africans, but not for the few racist ethnic extremist groups that think Ethiopia belongs only to them.
Now the Election for WHO Director General is done deal and Dr. Tedros Adhanom has been elected, those useless hate mongers have started insulting internationally respected people who has nothing to do with WHO elections. One such person targeted by the Derg riff raff is the American philanthropist Mr. Bill Gates. Why? He supported Dr. Tedros Adhanom on his campaign for Director General of the WHO.
Professor Alemayehu Gebremariam, one of the most vocal extremist people against the Ethiopian government and anything Tigrai has published an article slandering the WHO, Mr. Bill Gates, and Dr. Tedros Adhanom.
Professor Alemayehu Gebremariam said, “I congratulate Bill Gates for getting his man (or is it toady?) at the helm of WHO. Now, Gates gets to run G-WHO like he did Microsoft. Gates, the great philanthropist, was once known as a “dictator and autocrat” on Planet Microsoft. They say birds of a feather flock together”. (Emphasis mine)
Instead of admitting their fault that they were opposing this humble, intelligent, educated and brilliant son of Ethiopia because he is from Tigrai State, they are saying his election is international conspiracy and “the whole WHO “election” for “director-general” was a sham, a set up”.
The lesson for the rest of us is, if you don’t speak Amharic, if you are not from Gonder, if you are from the rest of 80 other ethnic groups, and most of all if you are from Tigrai, you are not true Ethiopian. Unfortunate for the few walking dead, Ethiopia and the Ethiopian people have moved light years beyond their narrow village mentality. Ethiopians all of them, including peace loving Amhara people are working day and night to bring about a brand new better Ethiopia. Ethiopians are working to get out of abject poverty and make their country a middle income country and they are succeeding. Ethiopia is building and finishing multiple mega projects as we speak.
The Business Daily an online news outlet published two days ago an article that shows Ethiopia has surpassed Kenya as a regional economic power. “Ethiopia has opened a Sh371.8 billion ($3.61 billion) gap on Kenya’s economy fuelled by a decade of double-digit GDP growth, cementing its position as Eastern Africa’s emerging power house.
The International Monetary Fund’s (IMF) latest data indicates that Ethiopia’s annual economic output, also known as the gross domestic product (GDP), hit $72.52 billion (Sh7.4 trillion) last year from $64.68 billion in 2015 and is expected to touch $78.3 billion this year.”
Those opposing the Ethiopian government who are mostly living in the United States of America and Europe can see the amazing transformation taking place in Ethiopia. Their problem is the engine behind all these changes is TPLF and they don’t want to see anything positive happening in Ethiopia because of TPLF. In reality it is not only TPLF, first of all it is the entire Ethiopian people, second it is the EPRDF as a party and as a government making all the change in Ethiopia to become reality.

What Al-Mariam and his cohorts and all the other so called “activists” are missing is they can’t bring unity and harmony to Ethiopia by becoming agents of hate and false propaganda. What they are doing is creating mistrust, misunderstanding, and fragmentation among the Ethiopian people. What they are doing is forcing the silent majority of Ethiopians to take a defensive hard-line stand against the people and groups the falsely claim to represent.
All Ethiopians should speak out to expose those prophets of doom. No more silence, no more whispering, and no more hiding the truth. These people are racists interested only to grab power by any means. They don’t care if in the process they destroy the country or people get hurt. It is time for all of us to stand up and our voices heard.
