President Obama will visit Ethiopia at the end of July 2015 said the Press Secretary of the White House Josh Earnest on June 19, 2015.
It is the first time in the history of the United States of America a sitting president of the USA to visit Ethiopia. This historical visit by an American president is going to take place in the back drop of the fifth national election. The visit of President Obama to Ethiopia has an enormous significance to Ethiopia and to the African continent. It shows the strategic policy shift by the United States of America and the world. Most of all the visit is an indication of the undeniable importance and rising of Ethiopian power in Africa.
Ethiopia does not need any country’s validation to what it is doing as an independent and sovereign country, but in the world of international diplomacy a visit by “the leader of the free world” is paramount.
President Obama’s visit to Ethiopia was disclosed by the white house on June 19, 2015.
White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest said in a press statement “In late July, President Obama will travel to Ethiopia for bilateral meetings with the Government of Ethiopia and with the leadership of the African Union. This visit, which will follow the President’s travel to Kenya, will build on the success of the August 2014 U.S.-Africa Leaders Summit by strengthening ties with our African partners and highlighting America’s longstanding commitment to investing in Africa. This will be the first visit of a sitting U.S. President to Ethiopia and to the African Union headquarters, underscoring our efforts to work with the countries and citizens of sub-Saharan Africa to accelerate economic growth, strengthen democratic institutions, and improve security”.

The Ethiopian toxic Diaspora freedom fighters and the Eritrean Satellite Television ESAT have been targeting any American politician who support Ethiopia or who issued a positive statement about Ethiopia. The list of American government officials who were defamed by Ginbot-7 and ESAT is very long, but among the many we can mention Susan Rice, Wendy Sherman, Gail Smith. We are wondering what the former Derg soldiers and Shabiya dogs will say now that the president of the United States decided the to visit the mother of Man kind, the center of black civilization, and the cradle of humanity, Ethiopia?
It seems the sun is setting fast on those useless and jobless Shabiya goons.
