Ethiopian Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn promised the terrorist groups hiding behind fake questions like the Addis Ababa Integrated Master Plan will not be allowed to destroy the Ethiopian developmental progress. He said the terrorists who are trying to confuse our young people and destabilize our country will be hunted down and the Ethiopian security forces are ready to take decisive action without any mercy.

Prime Minister Hailemariam added the Addis Ababa Integrated Master Plan was in a planning stage not ready to be implemented. The evil forces behind last week’s school children demonstration in some towns in Ethiopia are trying to fulfill their hidden agenda. The farmers and the other people directly affected are not the people who are killing unarmed police officers.
He said all the disturbance has been under control but he had stern warning for those who are pushing to destabilize the country and destroying public and private properties. He said the government has the responsibility to protect the nation and its people from terrorist force. The Ethiopian government and the people will take legitimate action to the full extent of the law without any mercy.
Admin’s Note:
This is a good start, but some people might ask where were the federal and state government security apparatus when the anti peace elements were organizing and getting ready to burn farms and destroy other property? What is the role of the federal government within the regional states affairs, and when does the federal government takeover and say, this a national security issue we will take it from here to the regional state security forces?

It is time to look inward for the federal government and redefine its role and control over national issues. Mr. Prime Minister make sure there is no government within your government. It is high time for EPRDF to do a real soul searching and really examine the relationship within the parties that make up the EPRDF.
