Ethiopian Airlines, the fastest growing airline in Africa, has taken another leap forward by receiving its second Boeing 787 Dreamliner. Ethiopian second Dreamliner was delivered in Seattle on Wednesday, October 3, 2012 and arrived at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport on Friday, October 5, 2012.
On the same day, Ethiopian second Dreamliner made its first scheduled flight to Paris. Ethiopian Dreamliner’s flight to Paris is part of tour of stations Ethiopian has been making with its Dreamliner.
Since August 2012, Ethiopian Dreamliner, "Africa First", has been flying to destinations in its extensive network across the world, adding new level of comfort to its valued customers. Ethiopian is the first in Africa and ahead of any outside of Japan to own and operate the 787.
Ethiopian currently has 5 flights a week from Paris to Addis Ababa with convenient connecting services to destinations in West, Central and South West Africa such as Cameroun, Kinshasa, Brazzaville, Libreville, Douala, Malabo, and Pointe Noire.
Passengers from Paris can now enjoy the ultimate travel experience on-board the Ethiopian second Dreamliner joining major destinations in Europe, the Americas, the Middle East and Asia served by Ethiopian Dreamliner. They have enjoyed the unparalleled comfort with less noise, biggest windows in the sky, higher ceiling, higher humidity and unique lighting offered on board Ethiopian Dreamliner.
Ethiopian has eight remaining orders of the Dreamliner, three of which are expected to be delivered within this fiscal year. Ethiopian second Dreamliner will be deployed on to Washington in the coming weeks. The latest addition of 787, increases Ethiopian fleet to 51.
