Ethiopian Coffee named world best coffee of the year 2016 wins award
Ethiopian coffee was named the best coffee in the world by Ernesto Illy International Coffee Awards held this year in New York City.
Ethiopia is the birth place of coffee. Coffee was found in Ethiopian southern region of Kaffa which the name coffee is driven from. The natural decaffeinated coffee beans was found in Ethiopia by Brazilian Scientist.
Andrea Illy, illycaffè’s current CEO and chairman explained that "Ethiopian coffee contains a mysterious compound that is unique to the region and that science has yet been able to replicate."
