Donald Trump wins the 2016 American Election

U.S. President elect Donald Trump celebrates his election win.

American real estate billionaire Donald Trump wins the 2016 American Election to become the 45^th president of the United States of America. Donald Trump who is seen as extremely divisive and polarizing figure in the American politics shocked not only the American people, but the whole world by winning the hard fought election because he fought two pronged election fight. One with Democrats and the political party he is suppose to represent, the Republican Party. Many of his political stands on immigration, women, none white people, and Muslims didn’t sit well with many people, but despite what has being thrown at him he kept surging towards the presidency.  Finally he won the election by about million votes which is a huge margin, 218 to 276.

Some political analysts might say he won on angry vote because most Americans are angry at the democrats taking care of business domestically and in the world. However, all of us should expect a bumpy ride in the coming few months if not the entire presidency of “President Trump”. In fact some American celebrities and the Muslim community have reacted strongly to Mr. Trump’s election to be the next president of the most powerful country on earth.

last summer the Economist Magazine declared Donald Trump as one of the dangerous events that could happen to the world if gets elected president of the USA.

As far as the Ethiopians are concerned most of them especially those who are closer to the current Ethiopian government would like to see a republican president. It may or may not be true but many Ethiopians feel the republicans are more friendly to a stronger Ethiopia and the site many reasons among them President Charter abandoning Ethiopia in the 70s, Hillary Clinton visiting the Eritrean capital, Asmara in 1997 as a first lady, and some of the supporters of the Ethiopian extremist groups in America happen to be Democrats too.

We don’t think either party is particularly favorable to Ethiopia when it comes to the overall American policy since the foundation of American policy is about maintaining American interest.
